Thank you to everyone who joined us at our LISIG annual dinner in November. It is always a highlight of our year to spend the evening with Members, Agents, and Vendors who share a strong commitment to keeping people safe and healthy at work.
We’re proud to recognize Northland Forest Products, Inc. as the recipient of the 2024 Tom Hansen Safety Award. Each year, the Tom Hansen Safety Award is presented to one Member who demonstrates outstanding dedication to loss control and workplace safety. Nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Be a LISIG Member in good standing for a minimum of three years
- Be in compliance with, and continually practice, all group control guidelines and safety programs
- Maintain a favorable loss ratio as a result of their commitment to loss control
We would also like to recognize the 84 Members who earned No Lost Time Awards this year. These awards honor Members who have not experienced a lost-time claim for six months or longer. A special congratulations goes to Goss Lumber Company, Inc., which has gone 297 months (more than 24 years) without a lost-time claim. What an incredible achievement.
Additionally, the Board of Trustees has declared a $200,000 surplus distribution for this year. A total of 72 Member companies contributed to the surplus and received a distribution check.
We would also like to take a moment to recognize Brian Stowell of Crown Point Cabinetry (pictured) for his many years of dedicated service on the Board of Trustees. Brian’s thoughtful leadership, steady guidance, and genuine commitment have made a lasting impact on our Trust. We are truly grateful for the time, care, and expertise he has shared in support of our Members.
